The LBRC has designed a fish form that can be completed and submitted by any fisherman willing to help conservation.
The form is designed to keep an eye of what species come out of the river, their sizes and what bait is being used. The form is simple and straight forward and all we ask is that those keen fishermen fill the forms out for the fish they catch and submit the forms back to the LBRC. The data you give us will be entered into a database and fish related analyses can be done using this database.
Many of you would have been asked by the LBRC on catches that where filled in on another form. This is a Fish Stats form collected for MCM and will still continue as per usual, but the new form will be the first time you as the fisherman can complete your own forms. There is also on this form a question on the sharks so we can start to assess the severity of the problem of sharks taking fish off your lines. The data on this form is vital and a real chance to get involved in the conservation of the fish you all love so much.
